A Lesson in Irish

I was asked to make a thank you card for someone who very kindly donated to our rugby club. As we live in an Irish speaking part of the county I decided to put the sentiment in Irish.
Mile Buiochas (me'la bua'chuis) meaning a "Thousand Thanks"
The colours of the club are Red, Black and White, I layered the sentiment on black and red using Nestabilities Label 4 just to keep with the Rugby Club theme.
A nice simple card and to the point.

Card and Backing Card: All from stash.

Parents Big Birthday

Both my parents celebrate a big birthday this year, within 6 weeks of each other, won't tell you which, that would give my age away. LOL
We (siblings) decide to celebrate in style and we decided to have a party in one of my sisters houses for them.
Here is the invite we sent out to the guests.

It opens down by untieing the ribbon.
I got the idea for this invite when I attended a Card Making Workshop run by a wonderful crafter Jackie Mooney . She holds monthly workshops in Dublin, Ireland but as I live on the other end of the country I do not get up to them. :(
I am delighted to say the the invites were well received by all. :) so much so that my Mother asked my to make the Thank You cards.
